Prague – the heart of Europe, the golden city, the city of a hundred towers, the city of magic. Main attractions include the Prague Castle, Gothic Saint Vitus Cathedral, the Charles Bridge, Old Town Square, the Jewish Quarter, the Lennon Wall, the Petřín hill, the Dancing House. The extensive historic centre of Prague is included in the UNESCO list of World Heritage Sites.

Prague is 23 km from our hotel, you can easy get there, info about buses is here, ticket will be cost 32 CZK.

Kutna Hora is another significant city of the Czech Republic. Main sights – Cathedral of Our Lady, St. Barbara’s Temple, Sedlec Ossuary, Church of St. James, Church of St. John Nepomuk, Church of Uršulině Konvent, Jesuit College, Italian Court, Marian column. Kutna Hora is included in the UNESCO list of World Heritage Sites.

It is possible to get there by bus 381, ticket will be cost 40 CZK.


Český Šternberk Castle and Konopiště is near us, about 20 min by car.

Český Šternberk Castle is a castle of the mid-13th century, it is considered one of the best preserved Gothic Bohemian castles, named and still owned by members of the same family. Český Šternberk Castle is today a residence that bears a long historical and architectural heritage and represents an attractive tourist destination open to the public.


It has become famous as the last residence of Archduke Franz Ferdinand of Austria, heir of the Austro-Hungarian throne, whose assassination in Sarajevo triggered World War. The bullet that killed him, fired by Gavrilo Princip, is now an exhibit at the castle's museum.  The castle was apparently established in the 1280, it was repaired between 1889 and 1894 by the architect Josef Mocker into a luxurious residence, suitable to the future Emperor; which he preferred to his official residence in Vienna. The extensive 225 ha English-style park, with terraces, a rose garden and statues, was established too. Part of the film The Illusionist, supposed to be the Prince's castle in the movie, was filmed in Konopiště.

Visitors can observe the residential rooms of Franz Ferdinand who was also an enthusiastic hunter, a large collection of antlers, the " Obizzi-Este collection" the third largest European collections of armoury and medieval weapons from Catajo Castle (Castelo del Catajo Padova, Italy), a shooting hall with moving targets and a garden with Itaian Renaissance statues and greenhouses.


Kostelec nad Černými lesy – translating to Fort above the Black Forest. Main tourist destination of city is a castle, wich was built in 1562 by architect Jaroslav Smiřický ze Smiřic, later castle was repaired by the onwer Maria Theresia of Liechtenstein in 1750–1756. Now it is renascence castel, another main sight is Chapel St. Vojtech. There is muzeum of ceramics in castle.
